What this is
HackerPage lists the papers, hardware, and personal blogs that Hacker News commenters recommend again and again. It has three sections:
- papers: research papers, theses, technical reports, and standards.
- hardware: electronics, retro computers, homebrew machines, and chips.
- blogs: whole personal sites of one person or a small group, also called digital gardens.
Privacy
The site has no accounts and no tracking. The for-you, later, and history views, and your theme and font, use only your browser's storage. rm ~/.history clears your history, and rm ~/later clears your reading list.
Credits
The idea and method come from HackerTube and HackerBooks. All comments belong to their authors on Hacker News. Each comment links back to its thread.
The color themes use the open source Dracula, Nord, Gruvbox, Solarized, Catppuccin, and Tokyo Night color schemes, with a few shades adjusted for readable contrast.
